The Basta!
If you want to enjoy a view of the Dubai canal from the terrace of your restaurant, I recommend Basta. Here, you'll enjoy a chic interior with atmospheric lighting sparkling in this romantic Italian restaurant in Business Bay.
The decor is magnificent and the dishes all more authentic than the others. I particularly recommend the calamari à la romaine are a real delight.

Bleu Blanc Oysters & Grills
Decorated like a French farmhouse, this Business Bay restaurant offers wood-grilled specialties. Service is impeccable and the food succulent. On the spot, I recommend the lobster risotto.
Le Bleu Blanc ouvre :
- Every day from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Le Long Teng
Long Teng offers authentic Cantonese cuisine. The dishes are and inventively presented. Although this is a seafood restaurant, the menu offers plenty of options for meat lovers.
Long Teng is open daily from midday to midnight.

A perfect place to relax after visiting the city.
Bars, pubs and nightlife in Business Bay
As I mentioned earlier, Business Bay is a trendy place where locals come to unwind from their long days at work. So it's only natural to find the city's trendiest bars here.
Le Café Artois
If you're looking for a casual sports bar, this canal-side spot is an excellent choice. Café Artois is located in an outdoor area along the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai overlooking the city's canal. There's a stage that hosts live concerts from time to time.
The pub opens:
- Sunday to Wednesday from 4 p.m. to midnight
- Thursday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Friday from noon to 1 a.m.
- Saturday from noon to midnight
The Makar
This splendid Scottish bar on the Business Bay serves the best cocktails in town. This inviting bar features authentic paintings, dark leather furnishings and a well-stocked bar. The bar's snack menu is also well worth a try. It contains many traditional Scottish dishes that are sure to take your breath away. I recommend you try their bridie, a kind of Scottish pâté served with a brown sauce.
This pub opens :
- Monday to Thursday 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Friday to Sunday noon to 1 a.m.
The Seven Sisters
For a chic evening out in Dubai, I recommend a visit to Seven Sisters. This venue offers a party atmosphere with rooftop views to make your evening perfect. However, I'd advise you to go there at sunset. You'll have a magnificent view of the Dubai canal.

- every day 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
What activities are available in the neighborhood?
If you want to do a bit of sightseeing in the Business Bay, there are two places in particular that are not to be missed.
Avenue de la Baie Park
A jogging track, two open-air gyms, a skate park, a trampoline area, butterfly-shaped light installations, lush gardens and breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa make up this charming neighbourhood park. A perfect place for a family picnic.
The location is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Dubai Canal
It's the perfect place to discover in winter. This 3.2 km canal winds its way into the Persian Gulf from the Old Dubai Creekby way of Business Bay. The canal itself is 80 m to 120 m and a depth of 6 m.
It also contains 7,800 million liters of water, as well as five shipping stations, making it an easy place to navigate. If you're looking for something spectacular, don't miss the mechanical waterfall, where the canal meets the Sheikh Zayed road bridge.
