Covering 96 hectares of land, Creek Park in Dubai was built in 1994. Not only is it accessible by boat, it also has three helipads, a communications center, water coolers and a treatment room. The construction cost over 106 million AED and also includes several unique leisure facilities.
It is located in Umm Hurair 2 between Deira and Bur Dubai. If you live in the apartments in Bur Dubai, the park is just 10-15 minutes away by car. It's also quite close to Karama's homes.
How much does admission cost?
Entrance to Creek Park Dubai is only 5 AED per person (€1.30).
Visit boats from Dubai and Deira are located at four berths in the park. You can take the metro to reach Creek Park Gate 4. However, many visitors prefer to enter through Gate 2 of Creek Park.
What are Creek Park's opening hours in Dubai?
You can visit this site :
- From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and public holidays, it remains open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Which metro station is closest?
The nearest metro station to Creek Park in Dubai is Dubai Healthcare City metro station. It is 800 meters from the park and gives access to entrance number 4.

The Dubai dolphinarium
You can watch the Creek Park dolphin show at the Dubai Dolphinarium. They even have seals in some shows jumping through hoops and juggling.
On some occasions, you can even swim with the dolphins! There's also a 5D and 7D theater, a mirror maze, a trampoline room and 20 different species of birds.
The venue opens :
- from Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Please note that the dolphinarium is closed on Sundays.
The Children's City
If you're looking for a fun and educational day out with the family, you need to visit Children's City. This is a center where children can learn through a variety of hands-on learning activities. Children's City has a gallery where you can see discover technologies and earth sciences, a planetarium and a nature center.
For children under 6, there's a toddler play area with age-appropriate games.
Childern's City is open:
- From Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- From 2 to 8 p.m. weekends
For entry fees, count :
- AED 15-20 per person (€4-5)
Plan a picnic in one of our barbecue areas
People love planning picnics with family and friends! Creek Park in Dubai has a number of places where you can grill your kebabs. The picnic areas are vast, covering the area of two sports fields.
Play mini-golf
Golf enthusiasts need not worry, as the park's also offers an 18-hole mini-course. Numerous Dubai residents visit the park solely because of this mini-golf course. Hours of family fun in the UAE city.
Ride the cable car
If you'd like to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the park, hop on one of the park's cable cars. It's a 30-minute ride that climbs 30 meters into the air, covering 2.3 kilometers of the park. From up there, you can see the skyline of old Dubai and the skyscrapers of Sheikh Zayed Road.
To take advantage of the cable car, you'll need :
- 25 AED per adult (€7)
- 10 AED per child (€2 70)
The attraction is available :
- From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily in winter
- from 5 pm to 9 pm in summer.
