Above all, it is the world's largest uninterrupted stretch of sand, covering 650,000 km.2 which are divided between Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai.
The desert's special features include its immense dunessometimes reaching heights of 250 metres, as well as its distinctive colororange/red, for superb photos.
Dubai's desert is inhospitable, and it would be dangerous to venture out alone. That's why safaris are organized to discover it, taking part in various activities. Enjoy the sand for a few hours, in complete safetyand dunes in 4X4s, sandboarding and camel-riding!

The tour begins at 7 a.m.. You'll be picked up a little earlier, and driven to the desert. You'll be taken back to your accommodation around midday.
