You can swim or stroll along the landscaped walkway, and you can even take advantage of the the free library to borrow a book to devour on the beach. A great idea!
There's not much to eat here, but you'll find everything you need at the nearby shopping center, Mercato Mall.

If there's a jet-setter in you and you're a fan of Dj Sets, then you're probably familiar with Nikki Beach Club and its private beach, one of today's hottest spots.
This beach, located Pearl Jumeirah, has all the facilities top-of-the-range. You can spend some time there, in exchange for an entrance fee of between 40 and 80 euros, to be converted into drinks or food. High prices are also displayed on the menus, reserving it for those who can enjoy it without counting the cost.

Here's what you need to know to make the most of your beach sessions in Dubai.
Public beach VS paid beach
Most of Dubai's beaches are public - and therefore free of charge. But some private areas will require you to pay an entrance fee. Often it's just a few dirhams, but you may have to be a customer of a particular establishment to gain access.
This is particularly true for the beaches of Atlantis The Palm hotel or Nikki Beach, which I mentioned earlier.
How to behave on the beach in Dubai
Dubai is located in a Muslim country and customs differ. This applies in particular to the attitude to adopt on the beach.
Avoid swimwear that reveal too much and ban toplessness (and nudism!). Outside the swimming area, men must cover their torsos and women must wear non-offensive clothing..
Moreover, the only token of affection tolerated is to holding hands. So let's skip the kisses and hugs!
