Mosque in Dubai: article summary
Jumeirah Mosque
Visit Jumeirah mosque is located in Jumeirah 1, opposite the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa. It is said that the most photographed mosque in Dubai. The mosque is a modern tribute to medieval Fatimid architecture, with pure white minarets and domes.
Organized tours are available for non-Muslims:
- Visit Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
After your visit to the mosque, you can take a stroll along Jumeirah Beach Road and enjoy restaurants, cafés and boutiques of all kinds. As well as being right on the beach, Jumeirah is also close to the Safa Park, the Water Park and many other attractions. Wild Wadi and much more.
The Iranian mosque
The Iranian Mosque, also known as the Imam Hussein Mosque, is located on Al Wasl Street, next to the Iranian hospital in Jumeirah. Its complex structure reflects the Persian architectural style. The striking feature of its exterior walls is the azure-blue earthenware tiles embellished complex floral patterns in red, green, yellow and white.
As with the Jumeirah Mosque, organized tours are available for non-Muslims.

- the Saturday and Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque
Located in Al Safa 1 opposite Al Safa Park, the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab mosque, also known as the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque, is the largest mosque in the world. known as the Blue MosqueIt can accommodate 2,000 worshippers. It is considered one of the largest mosques in the United Arab Emirates.
The exterior architectureinspired by the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbulknown as the Blue Mosque for the thousands of Iznek tiles that color its interior walls and arches.
This mosque is open to the public:
- Daily from 1pm to 7pm
Al Salam mosque
The Al Salam Mosque is located in Al Barsha 1 behind the Mall of the Emirates. It was opened in July 2014 by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. It has a capacity of 1,500 worshippers, and its interior fittings and Islamic collections reflect the spirit of Emirati architecture blended with Andalusian and Ottoman architecture.
It is located just behind the Mall of the Emirates. You can reach the site by metro or from the Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail.

Khalifa Al Tajer Mosque
Also known as the "Green Mosque", Khalifa Al Tajer is the first eco-friendly mosque in the Islamic world, having opened in Port Said in July. The venue is environmentally friendly, with energy-saving LED lights, solar panels to power battery storage systems and water heaters, as well as an air-conditioning system to regulate temperature according to prayer times and number of visitors.
This mosque is located in the Deira. It was once the city's business center. It is still home to a large number of government offices and institutes.
When visiting Dubai, I strongly recommend a visit to one of its mosques. In addition to the beauty of their architecture, you can take advantage of the calm of the place to rest for a while before setting off again to conquer Dubai.
