Dubai Safari Park, an eco-friendly animal reserve with 3,000 animals
Dubai Safari Park opened in 2017, replacing the city's former zoo. It is a complex eco-responsible of 119 hectares, home to nearly 3,000 animals from the 4 corners of the world, powered mainly by solar panels.
The park is presented as a vast animal reservedivided into 4 zones, each featuring animals from the region and interactive activities: Asia, Africa, the Arabian Desert and the Explorers' Village.
If you visit Dubai with children, this Dubai Safari Park is an unmissable activityA unique opportunity to observe rare species in their natural, carefully reproduced habitat. In general, what the youngest visitors prefer are animal feed which can be attended at set times.
Visiting the park on board a bus is also a highlight, as you can get up close and personal with each animal, take wonderful photos and learn more about the different species, during the 45-minute guided tour.

What does the Dubai Safari Park ticket include?
The Dubai Safari Park ticket includes entrance to the park and access to its main areas. You'll be free to roam the 3 following zones :
- Visit African villageto observe elephants, tigers, white lions, enter the chimpanzee house, the gorilla house or the reptile room.
- Visit Asian villagewith an Asian black bear as the star animal. An opportunity to discover the village theater and its impressive animal show.
- Visit Arabian Desert Safari Zoneto discover Arabian wolves, sand and mountain gazelles, and spotted antelopes.
A 4e zone - the explorers' village - is accessible with the purchase of an additional ticket, and allows you to discover a vast area on board a vehicle, to encounter giraffes, rhinoceroses, zebras and other magnificent animals from the African and Asian continents. If you have the time, don't hesitate!
In addition to observing the different species, you can also take part in several events and shows during the day. The rhinoceros and giraffe meals are particularly interesting, while the bird show is impressive. And if you love birds of prey, don't miss the show dedicated to them.
Last but not least a farm for childrenIt's the ideal way for youngsters to familiarize themselves with some of the park's most adorable animals: pony, goat, sheep, donkey, duck and many more!
How to get to Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park is located at the following address: 5CCW+H5 - Al Warqa 5 - Dubai
To get there, you can opt for one of our means of transport following :
- A cabwhich will cost you around 13 euros from the city center / around 20 euros from the town center. Dubai Marina
- By car, as the site has extensive parking facilities with a total of 3,000 spaces
- A busTake line 50 or N30 to the Dragon Mart 2nd Terminus stop, then take a cab to the park.
- Visit metrotake the red line to the Rashidiya (Centerpoint) stop, then take a cab to the park, for an estimated journey cost of around 10 euros.

Here's all the information you need to prepare for your visit to Dubai Safari Park.
Rates and booking
- Adult ticket: 12.41 euros
- Children's ticket: 4.96 euros (ages 3 to 12)
- Free for children under 3
To avoid queues at the entranceI strongly recommend that you book your tickets online. You'll receive them immediately on your mobile devices, and all you have to do is present them when you arrive.
Opening hours
The park is open every day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Please note that the main gate closes at 3.30pm (4pm if you bought your ticket online) and that the last safari bus leaves at 4.30pm.
To attend the shows, it's best to check the schedule for each one. In general, animal feeds are performed 2 to 3 times a dayThe shows are held at regular intervals, but only once a year:
- Bird show: 12pm, in the explorers' village
- Birds of prey show: 4pm, between the Asian village and the explorers' village
- Creatures of the world show: 3pm, in the Asian village
On average, they last 25 minutes.
Please note that timetables are subject to change during Ramadan.
