They include slides, wave pools and children's rides.
Today, I'm taking you on a tour of Dubai's water parks.
Dubai Water-park: article summary
Dubai waterpark: Wild Wadi water park
Located opposite the famous Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi is Dubai's only Arabian-themed water park. It once housed the world's largest waterslide, but this has now been removed in favor of new rides.
The park is located on Jumeirah Road near the Mall of the Emirates. The rides I recommend you try are :
- Breaker's Bay
- Jumeirah Sceirah
- Burj Surj
- Masters Blasters.
As far as prices are concerned, you should allow for :
- 336 AED (€93) for people over 1.10 m tall
- 284 AED (€79) for the little ones
Admission is free for Jumeirah hotel guests and children under two.
The venue is open :
- From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. January to October
- From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in November and December
You can get there :
- By metro
- By bus
- By cab
Atlantis Aquaventure
Aquaventure has become a veritable institution for tourists to Dubai. Some people travel to Dubai specifically to visit this water park. Atlantis Aquaventure is an ideal place to spend a day with the family. It has a beautiful private beach which you can also access after entering the park.
What makes this water park so great are its innovative slides, unique rides and attractions. Atlantis' popular rides include the Leap of Faith, which makes you descend 9 floors in seconds. Finally, Shark Attack puts you within inches of these majestic aquatic beasts.
More affordable, count :
- 275 AED (€77) for people over 1.20 m tall
- 225 AED (€62) for the little ones
Free admission for children under 2 years of age
The venue opens :
- Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You can get there :
- By metro to Nakheel station
- By car, the park is located on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld, located on Yas Islandis sure to please adrenaline junkies. There are over 40 rides in all, many of them unique in the world. Here you'll discover one of the world's most awarded water parks.
If you book online, entry costs just 210 AED (€58) for a full day inside the park.
Timetables depend on the season. For example, you can visit the water park on Yas Island:
- From November to February 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- March to May 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- June to August 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- September to October, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
How to get there, there are buses from Dubai to YasBut this depends on your location and may not be very practical. You can also take a cab, although this can be quite expensive.
Dubai waterpark: the Laguna water park
This is one of Dubai's newest water parks. It is located at the La Mer with its magnificent waterfront and promenade. The water park comprises four zones:
- Surf
- Relax
- Slide
- Splash
It features five main rides, a swimming pool, a river and a special children's area.
It's best known for the Ultimate Surf Machine. I also recommend you try the other rides, such as Aqualoop and Mad Racer.
As far as ticket prices are concerned, you must allow for :
- 125 AED (€34) if you are a resident of Dubai
- 200 AED (€55) for non-residents
Splash N Party
Although this park is perfectly suited to adults, Splash N Party is especially suited to children. designed for children aged 2 to 10. It's a wonderful place for little ones.
Bright, colorful and safe, children can make the most of the park's water rides. Particular attention has been paid to the various pools, as the water heights are limited in size and the slides are designed at lower heights than most of the city's water parks.
The ticket price includes :
- 100 AED (€27) per child with free adult admission on weekdays
- 140 AED (€39) per child with free adult admission on weekends
For each additional adult, you must pay AED 50 (€13).
The venue opens :
- Every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Dubai waterpark: Ice Land water park
As its name suggests, the Ice Land water park transports you to an Arctic world. It's the perfect place to take shelter from the Dubai heat. It is located in Ras Al Khaimah, an hour's drive from Dubai. The Ice Land water park has fifteen rides, a family pool, access to a private beach and a team of entertainers to keep the little ones entertained.
It has a beautiful view of the Hajar Mountains to the east, which offer breathtaking sunsets. The park covers more than 100,000 square meters. Don't miss Penguin Falls, the world's largest man-made waterfall.
Tickets are affordable. You can expect to pay :
- 70 AED (€19) for adults
- 100 AED (€27) for families of two adults and one child
- 20 AED (€5) per additional child
The site is accessible :
- Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Finally, to get there, you can reach the park by car via the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
