Everyone knows Greek salad, moussaka and perhaps grilled octopus dishes. GAIA goes to the very heart of Greek cuisine with dishes cooked in olive oil. Here, you'll find the famous Kalamata, lamb chops peppered with oregano that slide off the bone, spanakopita, baked feta drizzled with honey and encrusted with sesame seeds.

The place is often packed with important people on Saturdays at brunch time. You might even bump into some famous personalities. GAIA has become a popular gathering place for Emiratis. What's more, as I mentioned earlier, many Greeks also occupy the premises.
When it comes to desserts, there's plenty to choose from. You can, for example, try the delicious caramel apple cheesecake. This will not costs only 55 AED (€14) and transports you to faraway islands lost in the Mediterranean. You can also order the ever-popular mille-feuille filo, made with filo sheets, pastry cream and pistachio.
There are many things to discover when you visit GAIA Dubai. For me, it's the best place to eat typical Greek dishes.
How to get to GAIA
Getting to GAIA is easy. In fact, it's just a stone's throw from Jumeirah. To get there, you can use the various nearby metro stations. You can also take a cab or a bus if you want to get closer to GAIA.

To enjoy the delicious dishes prepared in this establishment, you can visit :
- every day from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Of course, as always, I recommend that you reserve your table in advance. As this is a very popular venue, you may not be able to find a seat when you arrive.
