Green Planet Dubai: article summary
Green Planet Dubai, the tropical forest in the middle of the desert
The city of Dubai is built in the desertThis doesn't mean we can't find incongruous activities, such as the Ski Dubai or this Green Planeta journey through the rainforest.
In this building, young and old alike can discover over 3,000 species of plants, animals and birdsThis ecological dome reproduces the climatic conditions of their natural habitats. The temperature is maintained at 25°-28° and the biodome is divided into 4 sections:
- The canopyDiscover the animals that live in the treetops, including many primates, by walking almost 40 metres above the ground.
- A intermediate zone with fauna and flora that prefer medium heights, such as snakes and certain bird species
- The forest floorto discover species that prefer not to be too high up, such as parrots and certain small mammals.
- The wet soil sectionfor animals accustomed to water and flatter terrain, such as iguanas, turtles, frogs or certain fish.
The idea behind Green Planet Dubai is to offer visitors a fun, sensory experienceto discover the lives of these rare animals. You can get up close to them, observe their behavior and learn more about the flora and fauna of the rainforest.
It's a fun activity that I recommend if you want to spend some quality family time together during your visit to Dubai !
