Dubai's palm island has been built in under 6 years. Construction took place between 2001 and 2006. The archipelago has a characteristic shape that has become famous the world over: from above, it represents a palm tree in a circle.

Most tourists arrive at Palm Jumeirah by cab, car or boat.
You can also take the monorail that runs the length of Palm Jumeirah to the entrance to Atlantis The Palm and Aquaventure water park.
Please note that the city bus network does not serve Dubai Palm Island.

Dubai Palm Island's monorail is undoubtedly the most convenient way to get around the island.
The monorail is computer-controlled and features large panoramic windows that offer a beautiful view along the route that skirts the entire trunk of the Palm Jumeirah.
The ticket price for the Palm Jumeirah monorail is AED 20 per person one-way and AED 30 round-trip. Please note that your ticket can only be paid for in cash.
Tickets can be purchased directly at the station.
What are the opening hours of the Palm Jumeirah monorail?
Palm Jumeirah monorail in operation daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.. There is a train every 15 minutes. The last departure is from Palm Gateway Station at 9:45 pm.
