Palm Jumeirah, an artificial district on the water in the shape of a palm tree
Palm Jumeirah is a district you won't want to miss during your visit to Dubai. It's an artificial archipelago, created on water, part of a trio of artificial islands known as the Palms Islands because seen from the sky, they represent palm trees!
It is the smallest of the three islands, behind Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira, but its statistics and facilities are no less impressive:
- The crescent around the center measures 11 kilometers diameter
- The palm tree it represents is made up of a trunk and 16 finswith a total surface area of 5 kilometers in diameter, equivalent to 600 soccer fields.
- Its construction, begun in 2001 and completed in 2009, cost over 12 billion dollars
- More 12,000 trees have been planted on the site
- There are 32 luxury hotelsnumerous shops and restaurants and some 60,000 residents in the district
- It is linked to Dubai by a 4 km
- A monorail centrally serves the area for optimized traffic flow

What does the Palm Jumeirah ticket include?
With this ticket, you'll board a semi-rigid boat to cruise the city's waters. for about 1h30. The boat can travel at speeds of up to 80 km/h, and you might get splashed. But that's all part of the experience, which allows you to see :
- Visit Dubai Marinawhich will be the starting point for your tour and is the world's largest marina. You'll pass along the beach and the impressive JBR district, with its skyscrapers and majestic yachts.
- Ain Dubaithe world's tallest Ferris wheel, and Bluewaters Island on which it is located
- Palm JumeirahYou'll be able to sail around the archipelago to see, among other things, the sumptuous Atlantis: The Palm hotel and its breathtaking architecture.
- Burj Al Arab (the Arab tour), a proclaimed hotel 7 stars by local journalists, which is one of the most luxurious (if not the most luxurious) in the world. It is easily recognizable by its sail-like shape and its tower, which measures 321 meters highone metre taller than the Eiffel Tower

Palm Jumeirah Island is not served by the metro, and the nearest stations are Dubai Internet City, Nakheelor DMCC on the Dubai marina. For the first two, you can take a cab across; from Dubai marina, a streetcar connected to the Monorail to reach the area.
However, it's easy to find and get to the start of the tour, as the pier is located at the following address: Dubai Marina Walkopposite Spinneys supermarket, next to Al Bawadi restaurant
It's easy to reach via any of the following means of transport:
- By metrored line to Marina Towers or Marina Dubai stop
- With the tramwaywhich serves the Dubai Marina and Dubai Marina Mall stops

- Adult ticket (over 13): 75.59 euros
- Child ticket (5 to 12 years / + 15 kg): 56.88 euros
- For safety reasons, we cannot accept younger children or those under the minimum weight limit.
It is necessary to book your excursion (date and time slot) and you can do it easily online. You'll receive your tickets immediately on your mobile devices, and all you have to do is present them at the boarding counter.
Opening hours
The tour runs daily, departing every hour. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.. If you'd like to see the sun set over the city, you may prefer to visit at the end of the day, which gives it its undeniable charm.
