Known as the longest road in the United Arab Emirates, construction began in 1971. The highway was completed in 1980. The road is named after the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai runs from the interchange near the Oud Metha area to Jebel Ali near the border between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It crosses the heart of the emirate, passing close to the Dubai World Trade Center, the Emirates Towers, the Dubai Mallfrom Burj Khalifa and many other monuments.

Renting a 2-bedroom apartment costs average AED 86,000 (€23,870)while a 3-bedroom apartment costs approximately AED 111,000 (€30,800). Those looking for more space can opt for luxurious 4-bedroom apartments ranging from AED 140,000 to AED 210,000 (€38,800).

The Blue Tower
The Blue Tower is the most popular building on this route. Known as the HHHR Tower, it comprises 72 floors of residential and commercial space. Interested tenants can rent 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. Offices for rent are also available in the tower. Annual rent for an apartment 1 room at Blue Tower starts from AED 69,000 (€19,150).
Duja Tower
Duja Tower is a 51-storey skyscraper 195 metres above the ground. The residential tower is located directly opposite the Dubai World Trade Center. If you rent a standard 2-bedroom apartment at Duja Tower, be prepared for pay around AED 100,000 (€27,750) a year.
The tower of the XXIᵉ century
Burj Al Salam, on this famous road, is another popular option for accommodation. with approximately 180 residential solutions. The building offers 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. As a rule, apartments in the Burj Al Salam tower are only available for rent in affordable ranges.

Public transport on Sheikh Zayed Road
The extensive road network provides direct access to key areas of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These include a 12-lane freewaySo residents shouldn't expect it to be a quiet neighborhood. This is all the more true during peak hours from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The road has the reputation of being the busiest highway in the United Arab Emirates. Most of the Dubai Metro's Red Line runs parallel to the long freeway. There are also numerous bus stops in the neighborhood.
Shopping malls on Sheikh Zayed Road
Shopping malls on Sheikh Zayed Road include the Times Square Center, the Oasis Mall and the Mall of the Emirates. The fun activities in these malls just keep getting better and better, and families enjoy a good time in these places. VR Park and Ski Dubai are places not to be missed.
Further south, towards the Jebel Ali district, is the Dubai Marina Mall, which hosts a range of events and entertainment activities. All these malls offer a wide range of luxury shopping, entertainment and leisure options. a wide selection of cafés and restaurants.
Spend some time in Zabeel Park
A larger, well-known park near this Dubai road is Zabeel Park. It has plenty of facilities for children and adults alike. There are areas for barbecuing, picnicking or simply strolling. Pedal go-karts are also available. can also be rented at Zabeel Park.
Visit Dubai Garden Glow includes numerous art installations and other attractions. Al Satwa Park is located just behind the Towers Rotana Hotel. a small, well-maintained community park.
