Weather in Dubai: what's the weather like in the city?

Before planning a vacation, it's a good idea to have a good idea of the temperature in Dubai.

April

It's usually hot in Dubai in April, and gets hotter as the month progresses. However, this may not be a bad time to visit, since the sweltering summer months are not yet upon us. There's also a chance of occasional sandstorms.

The chances of precipitation are very slim in April. It's advisable to wear a hat or umbrella if you'll be spending most of your time in the sun. Always carry sunscreen with you. The evenings are quite warm, so there's no no need for warmer clothes.

Count on a temperature average of 28°C.

Weather in Dubai: May

With average temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius, Dubai's climate in July is generally hot and stifling. Rainfall is almost non-existent and water temperatures usually reach 32 degrees. Even after sunset, you can feel the heat in the air.

I advise you to wear loose-fitting cotton clothing when walking around Dubai in July.

August

Weather in Dubai: September

With the beginning of September, the weather in Dubai starts to cool down. Temperatures generally vary from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius. However, precipitation is barely visible and the days are getting shorter.

The weather is still quite hot and humid, but much better than the previous two months. As the month progresses, it becomes quite pleasant to start venturing outside and indulging in the activities for which Dubai is known.

October

Dubai's climate in October varies from warm to pleasant. The average temperature is 35 degrees Celsius and you can enjoy the beach and its clubs. Remember to bring loose-fitting cotton clothing and be prepared for 10 hours of sunshine.

Although rainfall is less frequent, October is quite pleasant compared with the hottest months of the year in Dubai.

Weather in Dubai: November

Offering a respite from the hot weather, November is the start of the winter season in Dubai. Dubai's temperature fluctuates around 25 degrees Celsius at this time of year, making visits more enjoyable.

December

With temperatures dropping, December offers pleasant weather for tourists. The days are pleasant with an average temperature of 21 degrees Celsius in Dubai and occasional precipitation at the end of the month.
