Quranic inscriptions on the entrance fa\u00e7ade, the city's tallest minaret, large and small domes and authentic Islamic interiors offer visitors a unique first-hand experience of the country's traditions and culture. Considered one of the most beautiful monuments in Dubai, it <strong>offers spirituality and tranquillity to its inhabitants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880161\"><\/a><strong>The Burj Nahar<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Burj Nahar, built in 1870, consists of three watchtowers built to protect the old town from invaders. This monument is of historic importance. Built from mud and coral stone, it boasts traditional architecture. However, it's not all doom and gloom, <strong>the Burj Nahar has recently been completely restored<\/strong>. Located on the outskirts of <a href=\"https:\/\/dubaifacile.fr\/en\/deira-dubai\/\">Deira<\/a>It is now surrounded by picturesque gardens. A magnificent site that I recommend you visit if you're ever in Dubai.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880162\"><\/a><strong>Monument in Dubai: Saeed Al Maktoum House<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The former home of Dubai's ruler Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum is one of Dubai's historic buildings. <strong>located along the Dubai Creek in Al Shingagha<\/strong>. This monument was built in 1894. For some years now, Saeed Al Maktoum's house has served as a museum. It houses artefacts and photographs from Dubai's past as well as from the city's modern period.<\/p>\n<p>Stroll the aisles of this museum and discover the different facets of the city. From the first inhabitants to the present day, <strong>Here you can discover the complete history of Dubai.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880163\"><\/a><strong>Qasr al Hosn Fort<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Built in the late 1700s as a water reservoir for the city, this fort is Dubai's most famous monument. Having undergone improvements in the mid-1800s, the fort is today <strong>one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dubai.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here, you'll be able to witness the skills of the people of the time. High walls protect a citadel and a museum in the center of the fort. On-site guides will take you on a guided tour of the site. Thanks to them, you'll learn <strong>much more about the religion and customs of Dubai's inhabitants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880165\"><\/a><strong>The Dubai Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/dubaifacile.fr\/en\/dubai-museum\/\">Dubai Museum<\/a> allows visitors to discover the city's ancient facilities. Located inside the Al Fahidi fort, this site boasts a rich history. In the past, the Al Fahidi fort served as both a <strong>guard fortress and ammunition stockpile for weapons<\/strong>. At another time, it was even used as a prison for fugitives. Today, this monument protects the history of Dubai.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880166\"><\/a><strong>Al Ahmadiya School<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Built in 1912, the Al Ahmadiya School was the first educational establishment in the United Arab Emirates. Now used as a museum and located in the emirate of Dubai, visitors can observe the layout of the classrooms, the curriculum taught and other facilities.<\/p>\n<p>It's a visit I'd recommend if you want to find out more about the education provided in Dubai. Here you do <strong>a leap into the past<\/strong> and discover how young people learned in the last century.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc116880167\"><\/a><strong>Monuments in Dubai: Hatta Heritage Village<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Comprising two watchtowers, a fort and a mosque. It is one of the oldest villages on the outskirts of Dubai, in the region of <a href=\"https:\/\/dubaifacile.fr\/en\/hatta\/\">Hatta<\/a>. Whereas <strong>the buildings were restored in 2001<\/strong>Most of the materials used came from the original buildings themselves, dating from the late 1900s.<\/p>\n<p>If you're ever in Dubai, you must see these monuments.
