Go mountain biking on dedicated trails that cater for all levels. Along the way, you can <strong>connect with nature through farmland<\/strong>natural pools and rocky hills. You may even discover hidden oases.<\/p>\n<p>Swap your wheels for something a little more offbeat at Hatta Wadi Hub. This activity center is full of surprises, including the first and only open-air zorbing track in the Middle East. You'll soon find yourself rolling around in a giant transparent ball.<\/p>\n<p>If zorbing isn't your cup of tea, <strong>go for a bit of axe throwing<\/strong>. You can also try your hand at the climbing wall or enjoy the waterslide at Hatta Drop-In. There are also sunrise and sunset yoga sessions, paragliding and many other thrills to try out.<\/p>\n<p>Then slow down the pace by kayaking <strong>along the turquoise waters of the dam<\/strong>A popular attraction in the cooler winter months. Start your journey with a scenic drive into town. You'll be welcomed by the Hatta Fort Hotel, then turn into the central village and cross to <strong>to reach the dam's viewpoint.<\/strong> Park your car and take a short hike to see a magnificent blue lake.<\/p>\n<p>On your return, you can visit the Heritage Village, which showcases life in ancient times and houses the Hatta fort. Here, you'll see restored houses and huts <strong>discover the history of the first inhabitants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A short drive from Heritage Village is Hatta Hill Park, a vast, lush area often used for picnics and barbecues.<\/p>\n<p>Climb up to the tower for a fantastic view of the region. You can also visit the nearby library to learn more about the emirate's history and people.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc118307942\"><\/a><strong>What can you eat on site?<\/strong><strong> \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Fill up on local cuisine, food trucks and barbecues while enjoying the beauty of the city. For example, the Tanoor restaurant on Dubai Hatta Road <strong>offers traditional Arabic cuisine<\/strong> with a tasty menu of chicken, lamb and camel dishes. Hatta Wild Cafe offers fresh coffee, sandwiches and more inside Hatta Wadi Hub.<\/p>\n<p>The Al Hajarian restaurant at Hatta Heritage Village offers a peaceful setting in the historic Shari'a district. The restaurant serves authentic Emirati cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>It's a great way to discover the culture of Hatta. Coffee connoisseurs, meanwhile, should head straight to the lakeside and have a brew at the Alberi caf\u00e9. The food truck offers a variety of dishes and drinks to be enjoyed in the shade of the trees.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc118307943\"><\/a><strong>Hatta: where to sleep?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The site is perfect for a day trip. However, if you want to enjoy this natural landscape a little longer, book a stay at the Hatta Fort Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>The four-star resort, which has been welcoming guests for over three decades, offers rooms with spectacular views. Guests can also take advantage of the resort's swimming pools, park and <strong>a multitude of outdoor activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you're looking for a little luxury in nature, then there are 12 fabulous vacation homes to visit in Hatta, ranging from modern villas with <strong>private pools at rustic farmhouses with barbecues and karaoke facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those with the right equipment, there are several campsites, including some recently built near the Hatta Mountain Bike Trail Center. You'll find cabins, barbecues, shower blocks and toilets.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc118307944\"><\/a><strong>How to get to Hatta<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It takes around 90 minutes to reach the site by road from downtown Dubai. The best route is from E102 (Sharjah-Kalba Road) via E611 (Emirates Road).<\/p>\n<p>The scenic journey is an experience in itself, with the surrounding terrain <strong>from golden sand to deep red mountains.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hatta region is a wonderful place to visit.
